On pages 127 and 129 of the book Glove Affairs (by Noah Liberman), there is a story about former Major Leaguer, Chico Carrasquel. According to the book, he didn’t know that he was only allowed to sign one glove endorsement deal. His first endorsement deal was with Nokona gloves but he also signed a deal with Wilson Sporting Goods.
It leads to a funny story showing a small rivalry between Nokona and Wilson stemming from that incident.
